The Scouts and Families of Troop 597 would like to thank everyone that supported our Car Show. We had a great day and we exceeded last years attendance by a good margin.

The troop is chartered by St. Paul's United Church of Christ, located at Weavertown and Old Airport Roads in Amityville, Pennsylvania (a village in the Douglassville zip code). Regular troop meetings are held Monday evenings from 7:00PM - 8:30PM, from the beginning of September to mid-June.
The original, core values of scouting are an important part of our troop, though they may seem hidden at first glance. If you have been in scouting for any length of time you have probably heard something about Philmont, Sea Base, maybe The Northern Tier, all high adventure Scout Camps. Did you know that there is a new high adventure Scout Camp opening soon in West Virginia?
