The Summit - Check out the video

If you have been in scouting for any length of time you have probably  heard something about Philmont, Sea Base, maybe The Northern Tier, all high adventure Scout Camps.  Did you know that there is a new high adventure Scout Camp opening soon in West Virginia?

The Reserve is still being designed and created, and guess what?  You can have input in what gets included.  They are looking for input from Scouts, go to the Summit Website, and look for the "Shape The Summit" tab.

Also, did you know that The Summit will be the home of the 2013 National Jamboree as well as the 2019 World Jamboree?  That's right, there is a lot going on and pretty much right in our very own back yard.  I encourage you to check them out!

Ok, maybe 'back yard' is an overstatement, it's about 440 miles driving, but the good news is that it's mostly on highways. Take a look.
