Steven L Saylor “Tugger” (as of 2/2006) Centreville VA
Currently single and working since 2005 as the operations & facilities assistant director for American Systems Corp in Chantilly VA just outside of Washington DC-a private company that works mainly with government contracts. Steve graduated from Slippery Rock University with a BS in Sports Management. During college he helped coach the college football team for 4 ½ years and won a championship with them. He then continued onto the Arena Football League and spent a season in the team operations department of the Orlando Predators.

Eagle project:
Cleaned the bank and surrounding areas of a pond at Daniel Boone High School. Fixed and reattached the wooden dock at the pond and established a nature trail along the creeks that feed and drain the pond to be used by the science classes at the high school.
What does your Eagle Scout award mean to you?
“The overall work and satisfaction of that work is huge. I am definitely one of those guys whose Eagle Scout award taught me more and means more to me than my college diploma.”

“First question asked when I was interviewing for my job here at American Systems was – tell me about your Eagle Scout Service Project and what was your greatest memory with the Boy Scouts?. So for me it was huge” |
