“Accomplishment and perseverance”
Has your Scouting experience or Eagle Scout award helped you in life? Describe how:
“Yes, it has helped me secure employment, given me responsibilities. Being an Eagle Scout has saved my life in more ways than one”
“Scouting still means very much to me. I stayed in scouting to repay a debt that I will never be able to pay back. Along the way I have had a lot of fun, met a lot of great people and had opportunities come before me that I would not have had if it were not for scouting. The Boy Scouts saved my life. I can honestly say that I have no idea where I would be if it were not for Boy Scouts. I can tell you that I would probably not be as productive a person as I am today if it would not have been for the Boy Scouts” |
